Safety window film
Safety window film is added after the installation of windows in buildings, homes, cars, trains and buses. The after-the-fact installation is also referred to as a retrofit product. This means that the windows were already installed and the safety window film is added later.
Safety window film is a polyester film that gives the passenger of a vehicle or a homeowner a glare-free, near shatterproof, lessened UVA exposing view. Many people are opting for safety window films because they are more cost conscious that actual tinted windows and because they can be applied to installed windows.
Many residents of storm prone areas opt for safety window film to protect themselves and others from the dangers of flying shards and daggers of broken glass. Containing broken glass prevents injuries and possibly even death. Safety window film is a great idea for privacy, safety and protection.
